Approvals & Certifications

C-TEC is the only UK fire panel manufacturer to have obtained third-party product certifications and factory process approvals from the LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board), VdS and BSI (British Standards Institute).

Third-party product certification is independent confirmation that a product meets and continues to meet appropriate standards. Such certifications exist to assist end users and building owners in meeting their legal obligations under, for example, the Fire Safety (Regulatory Reform) Order, a note to which reads “Third party certification of fire protection products and related services are an effective means of providing the fullest possible assurances, offering a level of quality, reliability and safety that non-certificated products may lack.” Many insurance companies also insist on third-party approved life-safety products.
