Enclosure enhanced

C-TEC’s popular CFP 2-8 zone conventional fire alarm panel has been given a facelift. From April 2009 onwards it will feature a new-look plastic enclosure with the following enhancements:-

•  A new lid and base 'hinging' mechanism to simplify installation.

•  A 60 x 27mm indent on the lid for the optional location of a customer branding label.

• Drill centre points instead of knockouts to allow installers to choose how many holes are drilled and to give the panel a neater look when used in surface mount applications.

• An extra 'tie-wrap' slot inside the enclosure to allow additional/larger sized batteries to be more easily secured.

•  Internal securing slots on the left hand side of the enclosure for greater flexibility when mounting third-party equipment in the box.

Says Sales Director Charlotte Manley: “The enclosure is being introduced as part of our policy of continuous improvement and it addresses a number of issues raised by customers in the field. I am sure the enhancements will be welcomed by installers everywhere.”
