One of C-TEC’s rising stars has triumphed at a top awards ceremony by winning the prestigious award of Young Manufacturer of the Year.

22-year-old apprentice Rachael Wignall beat off tough competition to win the accolade at The Manufacturing Institute hosted event. Her achievements since joining us in 2001 include involvement in the design of our AVAC voice alarm system for which she has earned the deserved reputation as ‘factory expert’. She has also played a significant part in the manufacture of another C-TEC innovation which is currently under patent consideration.

States C-TEC’s Manufacturing Manager, Stephen Collier, “The Award recognises high achievement, advocacy, leadership and enthusiasm for manufacturing and Rachael demonstrates all these qualities in abundance. We are immensely proud of her hard work and dedication”.
